Hello,

This is a dumb answer, but maybe you mis read the install better! I had
the same problem and it turned out I missed something in the install
process. Also make sure that all the config files point to the proper
source directory.

TOPDIR=/usr/src/linux - Is the default, and this probably in most cases is
incorrect. At least if your using RH 7.1 or 7.2. If this needs to be
changed it needs to be changed in several places. Try this to find the
locations that need changing(from the freeswan directory):

egrep -r '/usr/src/linux$|/usr/src/linux[^-/<]' *
