Infact i have created that symlink tooo, i have installed the freeswan three
times, followed all the instructions,,, have installed linux two times (just
to make sure there are no problems found in it) but still have come up with
this error.... Let me re write my error. I have successfully installed (i.e
no errors) freeS/WAN version 1.96 on my machine which is running Red Hat
Linux 7.2 with Kernel 2.4.7-10. When i reboot my system after that, it gives
the following error message
Starting IPsec: ipsec_setup: Starting FreeS/WAN 1.96
ipsec_setup: modprobe: cant locate module ipsec
ipsec_setup: Kernel appears to Lack KLIP [FAILED]
After the PC boots when i give the the command "ipsec --version" just to
check it gives the output "IPsec Free S/WAN version 1.96"..... Although when
i run the command "ipsec whack --status" it gives something like pluto not
loaded or so......
Now what should i do to resolve this problem... is it a problem with the
kernel version?? or is it something else...?????
