[Users] Problem when importing certificate into Win2k

We are running FreeSWAN 1.95 + X509 Patch successfully with 3 Win2k
roadwarrior clients using ipsec.exe. Today I generated new certificates
for another Win2k client. This machine has all current updates + SP2
installed. Whenever I try to import the certificate using the MMC
console and the "Certificate Import Wizard" I get this strange error
message:

"An internal error occured. The private key that you are importing might
require a cryptographic service provider that is not installed on your
system."

There is no problem when I try to import this certificate on a different
Win2k system. So this really seems to be a local installation problem.
Does anyone have an idea what component could be missing.

Thanks in advance.
