Ladies and Gents, this should be really quick. I guess I'm missing
something simple.
I'm trying to upgrade FreeS/WAN from 1.91 to 1.96 on Mandrake 8.1
I untar freeswan into /usr/src/freeswanblah
go in the directory and give make oldgo
here's the error i get
Sam 9407 soundcards support (CONFIG_SAM9407) [M/n/y/?]
*** End of Linux kernel configuration.
*** Check the top-level Makefile for additional configuration.
*** Next, you must run 'make dep'.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.8'
cd lib ; make

make[1]: *** [pfkey_v2_build.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/freeswan-1.96/lib'
make: *** [programs] Error 2
Any ideas? Can I stay with the curent version (its working right now and
doing PSK) if i wanted to put keys into DNS? or X.509 certs? What are the
benefits of upgrading from 1.91 to 1.96
By the way, when i tried upgrading to 1.95, i received a similar error.
Thanks,
