[Users] ICMP tunneling OK, but not TCP/UDP

Hi,
I'm on my first FreeS/WAN setup and having a problem. I can ping
machines on the remote LAN but I can't telnet/ssh/anything useful.
I can ping even with large (eg 3K) packets.

This is Freeswan 1.96 on the client end on a 2.4.18 kernel.
The other end is Freeswan 1.91 I believe.

Note, this is going through a Linux box doing NAT in the middle; but
given that (with appropriate IPtables rules on the NAT box) the
tunnle is being established and I can ping, I guess that isn't the
problem?

Thoughts?

thanks in advance,

Dave
