Hi!
Lemme first give you a brief background before
harping on the problem ifself.
I'm an final year Engg Student, and as a part of my
academic project I set out to build a Router. I
downloaded the Zebra routing protocols suite from
zebra.org, compiled it installed, configured.....
Also our project guide suggested we use the BlueCat
IDE to develop into an embedded system. The BlueCat
IDE 3.0 which we are using comes along with Linux
2.2.12-20. All's fine with the router now. (Well that
was really brief...)
The project giude also wanted me to install/build
rather a VPN router. So I set out browsing and came
across the FreeS/WAN website. In confirmity with the
kernel version 2.2.12-20 I downloaded
freeswan-1.1.tar.gz. Now i read the docs and other
readme/install file. Finally i gave the command make
menugo after untarring freeswan under /usr/src/.But
now the following error are appearing

utils/patcher: patch on
/usr/src/linux/drivers/net/Space.c failed!
utils/patcher: restoring original
/usr/src/linux/drivers/net/Space.c,
utils/patcher: leaving patch attempt in
/usr/src/linux/drivers/net/Space.c.mangled
make[1]: *** [_patches2.2] Error 1
make: *** [patches] Error 2

Now i'm unable to figure out the problem. I even tried
installing 1.96version; but same results.Any
information in this regard will be greatly
appreciated.

bye
sunil
