Virii in the mailing list are annoying. BUT even more so is the ton of
automatic replies that get sent to the list as a result of it. Would the
mailing list administrators please send a warning to the postmasters of
the relevant domains and politely (the first time) ask them to configure
their virus scanners properly, so that they do not send virus warnings to
mailing lists (to this one, at very least)? As to the ones who do not
respond, please do blacklist them until they learn the lesson! Recently as
much as 2/3 of the mailing list traffic (on some days) was due to this
damned automatic replies.
