Hi there!
Have a strange scenario.. need a little help on solving it!
This is the layout today:
10.0.1.0/24 ----> 10.0.1.2 -----> x.x.x.z (inet)
x.x.x.y <----- 10.0.3.2 <-------- 10.0.3.0/24
| (eth1) (eth0)
(eth0) (eth1) |
|
|
|
|
10.0.1.3 (cisco)
10.0.3.3 (cisco)
|
|
|
|
(frame relay against a terminal system)
(frame relay against a terminal system)
|
|
a.b.c.d
a.b.c.d
The system works great, everything from 10.0.1.0/24 is accessing the
10.0.3.0/24 and vice versa..
But what i want to do now... cut the frame relay on the 10.0.3.0 side,
and route that traffic to the 10.0.1.3 router
instead.. (the frames both go against the same system).
Tried "route add -net a.b.c.d netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 10.0.1.3"
and " route add -net a.b.c.d netmask 255.255.255.0 dev ipsec0"
and "route add -net a.b.c.d netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 10.0.1.3 dev ipsec0"
etc. etc. the first and the third fails on "SIOCADDRT: Network is
unreachable"
and the second acctually adds a route.. but it doesnt seem to work..
Any help on getting this one working would be veeery apreciated!

Best Regards
Tore
