do you plan do use pre-shared secrets or x.509 based auth with
certificates? There is a good
draft paper released from SSH.com how to setup up freeswan with virtual
ip addresses an x.509 cert
based auth using sentinel clients. You can ask for it at

Hello,
I have successfuly installed FreeS/WAN 1.97 on a Red hat 7.2 with kernel
2.4.17.
This box is running Shorewall Firewall and PopTop (PPTP) vpn.
I now need to configure ipsec to work with SSH Sentinel V 1.3 (buid 47)
road woriers.
Can anyone please provide me with some docs and pointers on how to
configure FreeS/wan to work with ssh sentinel. thanks allot.
