[Users] Problems with Interfaces.

From: Daniel Sargent (dsargent_at_e-promotions.co.uk)
Date: Tue May 07 2002 - 18:01:11 CEST

freeswan:~ # ipsec auto --up vpn
003 "vpn": cannot find interface for connection "vpn"
022 "vpn": could not orient connection

I have the interfaces setup in the /etc/ipsec.conf

        config setup
        interfaces="ipsec0=eth1"
        klipsdebug=none
        plutodebug=none

freeswan:~ # ipsec tncfg
ipsec0 -> eth1 mtu=16260 -> 1500

Can anyone give me some ideas on what could be wrong?

TIA

Dan
