[Users] Win2k + X509 + FreeSWAN, it's working

Hello everybody,
I just wanted to thank everybody who helped me with my problems getting the
setup running. I had quite a few problems. Special thanks to Andreas who
helped me realize my own stupidity ;)

The problem was that Windows couldn't find the appropriate certificate for
the connection. The solution to the problem was that we made new certificates.
Two things were changed from the initial setup:
a) the root ca's DN was unique from all other DNs (after all DN stands for
Distinguished Name :) )
b) we eliminated all special characters from the DNs, especially the "-" in
the eMail address.

After those changes it worked right away. (Well, almost something stupid
about not replacing all certificates on the freeswan side, which was easily
solved with a few hints from Andreas)

No that I know what to look for, I have to say interop between freeswan and
win2k using x509 is quite simple.

Ciao,
Philip
