[Users] Follow up to distribution choice (Redhat 7.2 install)

Hello,

I am using RedHat 7.2 and want a 'perfect' install. I am currently
using some snapshots that came from
http://rpms.steamballoon.com/freeswan/ as binary kernel images. They
work mostly. I have two problems. One is that an X.509 client can
disconnect, and then try to reconnect, and pluto insists that the
connection already exists. It's as if the uniqueids=yes is broken. The
second problem is that one client (who uses a Linksys router with VPN
passthrough) cannot connect at all. All of this used to work with a
two-year ago version of Freeswan...

I was about to try to do the kernel.org kernel + ac4 + X.509 thing when
I notice ftp://ftp.xs4all.nl/pub/crypto/freeswan/RH7.2/ directory with
some redhat binaries. Does anyone know what these are exactly? Do
these binaries have an X.509 patch applied? Can it run as just a
module?

I see in the "Which a flavor to choose !!?" thread that some people have
had luck with 2.4.9-31 kernel source from redhat + freeswan 1.97 patches
+ x509. What version of x509 do I use? 0.9.11 or 0.9.10?

My biggest concern is that all the redhat megaraid drivers load on
startup, because I'm running on a DELL server with a raid array.

Thanks everyone!!! Freeswan is great!

-Jim
