AW: [Users] Follow up to distribution choice (Redhat 7.2 install)

Hi,

I'm using a

2.4.9-31custom #1 Fri May 3 22:07:08 CEST 2002 i586 unknown

with

freeswan-1.97 and x509patch-0.9.11-freeswan-1.97

without any problems. I have about 10 VPN users connecting
with Sentinel Clients as roadwarriors, one static tunnel
to a bintec ipsec enabled router and one to another freeswan
also running on a 2.4series kernel.

I used to install an ipsec gateway on a Compaq system with
smartarray support. All I had to do was to generate a new
initrd.img for the new kernel an define that in grub.conf.

Hope this helps!

Regards

        Daniel
