[Users] IPSEC passthrough

Hi all, (new to the list)
Can anyone answer this question please:

I have an IPCop box protecting my network at work, and would like to VPN from home to a Win2K RAS server on my LAN.
IPCop uses frees/wan, and has the IPSEC masq module loaded, what I would like to know is if I set up a VPN from home (Win2K sever), would the tunnel go straight through the IPCop box, and terminate at the RAS sever? Would this still be as secure as a normal VPN?

Any and all thoughts welcome.
