Im not sure if its related but i enabled ip filtering/masquerading in my
kernel rebuild as i have been using my linux box as a gateway onto the net.
Now when I look in the 'make xconfig', the support for ipchains is not
selectable (although the executable 'ipchains' is still installed).

Do i need to rebuild the kernel with support for ipchains for kernel 2.2 and
without masquerading?

But I think that will mean that until i get freeswan up and running, i cant
masquerade?

Any help appreciated,

Wilf
