I'm reluctant to suggest it because of the PITA it represents for you...
But, you could subscribe once, then forward to a mail list from there
(and we'd unsubscribe from the main one). Ideally this would mean only
one subscriber to the real list ;-) But then the list maintenance would
fall unfairly to you.

Unfortunately, while it would filter the viruses out (which don't
particulary bother me... I update regularly), it wouldn't solve the more
annoying problem of all those virus notification emails! Unless everyone
subscribed to you.
