Hi Freeswan users, i'm submitting this Q again in the humble hope that
someone will have mercy with me :-)

I'm currently having problems installing Freeswan:
When i run make config from /usr/src/linux-2.4.9-ipsec1.95pptp31 my kernel
dumps, leaving a core in that directory.

My system is Redhat 7.1 on a I386 system. Kernel is 2.4.2-2

I have installed the following:
gcc 2.96-85 (Have also tried with 2.96-98)
make 3.79.1
binutils 2.11.90.0.8
util-linux 2.10s
modutils 2.4.2
e2fsprogs 1.19
reiserfsprogs 3.x.0j
freeswan-x509-1.95-2 (downloaded from www.spenneberg.org/VPN)
kernel-doc-2.4.9-ipsec1.95pptp31 (downloaded from www.spenneberg.org/VPN)
kernel-source-2.4.9-ipsec1.95pptp31 (downloaded from
www.spenneberg.org/VPN)

I have NOT installed:
pcmcia-cs
PPP
isdn4k-utils
Since i don't use any of them. Could this be the problem ?
What am i doing wrong here ?

Best regards
Salvatore Buccoliero
