Hi everyone,

I'm using Sentinel 1.3.2 on WIn2K to connect to FreeS/WAN 1.91 on redhat 6.2 with X509 patch.

When I do a diagnostic on Sentinel to test le VPN connection everything is good.

The problem is when I try to start the VPN connection. It says please check if policy manager is running.
And my tcpdump does not show any traffic !

To configure Sentinel I followed the documents fron SSH.com.

Note : when I remove the virtual IP setup I see the traffic for the connection.

Here are my questions :

- Is it a misconfiguration in Sentinel ?
- Is this issue related to my version of SWAN ?
- I've applied the patch recommanded at ssh.com but didn't solve anything
- Did anyone had this problem ?
- My understanding is that it's possible to use VIP with sentinel and FreeS/WAN (refer to message March 25th 2002 from Jussi Torhonen)
Is that correct ?
