Hello to all on the list. I have been working with freeswan for about a
month and still no success for a Vpn implementation. I am considering using
freeswan with an Exinda networks concentrator, however I would like to get
freeswan working independantly first. When I initialize the tunnel I receive
this error
" [root_at_proxy /home]# ipsec auto --up fair-frank
112 "fair-frank" #1026: STATE_QUICK_I1: initiate
003 "fair-frank" #1026: ERROR: PF_KEY SADB_X_ADDFLOW response for flow
tun.10c1@
202.xxx.xxx.x included errno 250: Unknown error 250
004 "fair-frank" #1026: STATE_QUICK_I2: sent QI2, IPsec SA established"
Freeswan states that the connection is established, yet the error is
reported within PF_KEY.
If anyone has encountered this before could you please advise. Any
assistance is appreciated. I am using freeswan version 1.97-1 using an rpm
with no kernel re-compile under kernel version 2.4, I have also implemented
iptables however I have allowed for the ipsec traffic as stated in the
documentation. When I examine ip interfaces traffic i.e. pings, are being
sent out on the ipsec interface yet they do not seem to reach their
destintion. I belive that the gateways have been set correctly. So my
problem is two fold 1. is freeswan correctly installed.
2. have I correctly cofigured the ipsec.conf / firewall rules?
Again if anyone has some information it would be greatly appreciated as it
would mean a lot to our ngo organization to establish a vpn.
Thanks
David Badger.
