Matthew, these are routines that are essentially internal.
They implement the arithmetic routines that the Sparc doesn't implement
natively. These are usually in libgcc1.a, which ought to already be in your
kernel.
This is very surprising, really.
I can't point at what you should do, but perhaps another Sparc user can
