Hi,
It seems that LinkSys router will work with FreeSwan, is this true?
Currently, we have FreeSwan 1.3 on corporate side, all with public IPs. The
branch office is FreeSwan 1.5 with one public IP and network behind it are
of all private IPs. They communicate with Preshared secret.
Now we have to move our corporate office to another place. The direct result
is that we have to use NAT on corporate side, which is very bad for
FreeSwan. The first solution comes to my mind is to put freeswan behind our
fractional T1 router, which will not do NAT. My freeswan box do firewall,
NAT and VPN. The network is behind this freeswan box.
corp. NWK--FreeSwan,NAT,FireWAll--Router--Internet--Branch
But if LinkSys can work with Freeswan, I just need to update my freewan in
branch office, and things will look like this:
corp. NWK--LinkSys,NAT,Firewall--Router--internet-Branch.
Will this work?
Thanks,
Bing Zhang
