[Users] Does FS 1.95 work on 2.4.18/RH 7.3

The FreeSWAN webpage state that the current release is 1.95.
Why is not 1.96/1.97? I assume stability etc.

On http://www.freeswan.ca/code/old the recommendation is
at least 1.96 for RH 7.3.
Has anyone successfully installed FS 1.95 on RedHat 7.3?
