Do people generally expect to find statements on listserv policy in a
software FAQ? Not where I'd expect to find it, although when reading it
there now Henry's statement is impressive.
What the FAQ doesn't have, which has been discussed in this thread, is
useful procmail recipes. So the signal-to-noise ratio in this thread hasn't
really been so bad. If those recipes were added to the FAQ, and a reference
to the FAQ was placed in the list footer (or headers?), that might hold off
the next recurrence of this topic a bit longer.
