Can you please spell out what you're doing here, step by step? It would be a
great help.

I assume after "ip route" you have "add" or "append"? Are you deleting the
rule that FS appears to create for the connection first?

My earlier guess that the IP to use for the last two values is the internal
interface IP of the IPsec gateware seems to be wrong, since I get the error
"RTNETLINK answers: Network is unreachable" trying that value with "add" or
"append" here (iproute2 has particularly unrevealing error messages).
