RE: [Users] Viruses, spam, etc etc

Couldn't someone set up "SpamAssassin" on a mailserver at freeswan.org,
and have that mailserver simply forward to the listserver? It might not
get ALL the spam, but it'd bloody well get a good bit of it. I totally
understand the notion of not requiring subscription to the list to post
to it, but it seems like for the sake of a few, all are suffering. I've
only subscribed to the list for about 18 hours so far, and from what
I've seen it seems like almost 50% of the traffic is either spam or
people complaining about spam. I haven't even posted the question I was
going to ask, and I'm sorely tempted to just unsubscribe and seek other
options (like a commercial VPN product) already...

It's honestly not laziness on my part, I just don't have access to a
machine where this could be done. I mean, I could set it up to run from
my cable at home, but my ISP filters port 25 and it would be against my
TOS anyway.

So unless you're looking for a proof-of-concept implementation, I'm
afraid I just _can't_ help. I mean, if someone has a server but not the
time to set this up, I'd certainly be willing to help.
