[Users] frees/wan won't work?!

1)
I've tried the debian packaged version and the pre2 source.
When I try to connect to oetest.freeswan.org it always
reports "plaintext" (appended to the end of the barf text).

See posted a barf report - http://216.254.70.10/ipsec.barf.txt
The system is currently running -pre2.

I've read the docs, re-read them, and tried many things.
No luck. What am I missing?

2)
When I do get a rudimentary setup working, I plan (hope?)
to implement the following:

|
|
internet->-dsl------|
internet-<-dsl--- |public_ip_1--->|
| | |public_ip_2--->|
| | |public_ip_3--->|
| | |public_ip_4--->|
remote-site | |
w/cable | |-->ipsec0--|
| | |
| |<----public_ip_5---------------|
|
|--->ipsec0---|
               |public_ip_1--->[host acting like public_ip_1 but on dyn ip
cable]
               |public_ip_2--->[ ... ]
               |public_ip_3--->[ ... ]
               |public_ip_4--->[ ... ]

because I have to move out of my home (for 3 months) where I've
been hosting 5 public servers and I want to continue service but
with the hosts in my temporary home. I'll leave 1 box behind to
do the tunnelling.

This is do-able, right?

Thanks,
C.
