Dear Sir/Madam,

I tried to install freeswan on redhat, I had installed the software
according to the installation guide, when I ran the command "ipsec
verify",the following message appeared,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Checking your system to see if IPsec got installed and started correctly
Version check and ipsec on-path [OK]
Checking for KLIPS support in kernel [FAILED]
Checking for RSA private key (/etc/ipsec.secrets) [OK]
Checking that pluto is running [FAILED]
DNS checks.
Looking for forward key for freeswan [OK]
Does the machine have at least one non-private address [OK]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I used Linux 2.4.7-10 and freeswan-1.98b.tar.gz

the key problem was the lacking of KLIPS in kernel. I am a beginner of
linux, so I wish someone can tell me something about it .Thanks.
