hi
on the same lines as the mail sub :" distinct tunnels for distinct ports" ,
my requirement is to provide for protocol selectors , but if protocol level
granularity is not provided by Freeswan then i cannot provide this
information through ipsec.conf.
can some one please give me some directions as to how should i proceed if i
have to add this functionality to freeswan.
thanks and regards,

That subject isn't helpful :-)
On a busy mailing list, the Subject needs to convey the topic.
| Using freeswan can I have two different tunnels between two security
| gateways -
| where,
|
| 1. ESP using algo A1 for traffic for udp port no P1
| 2. ESP using algo A2 for traffic for udp port no P2
No. FreeS/WAN does not implement port "selectors" (the ipsec term).
| Other than using firewall can I use the port information anywhere in the
| ipsec.conf ?
No. Nor can the port selector be negotiated with our IKE
implementation.
