Hi, Well I have been reading the "online documentation"
and so far I think I get part of it but am very lost with the way you folks describe this stuff...

example: Left Vs. Right

seems like if this is a Peer to Peer that is symetric that my left right would get inverted on the other end IE:

my left is local right is remote on my pc
so
on the remote peer the same should be true
left is local right is remote
and in the config files for us to connect we should each have a local left that is connecting to the other sides right, right?

Grrrr....

trying to follow the docs It aint working, had en error about needing a valid peer address -- on starting the "server" side....
the "client" wants to talk but can't hear the server...
tryto fix the adress and now the server says it can't start the connection casue it does not exsist.

if this helps here is what I am trying to do:

remote / road warior on dhcp addr conecting into a firewall/vpn server
running redhat 7.3
server has a fixed public IP with firewall configured to let traffic thru.
need to have client get an adress on inside adress in 192.168.x.x

need to get a working example of this.... trying the ones I ind but can't get them to work.....
