I now have a VPN established with my peer (Checkpoint Firewall-1), but
they have had to change things as it would appear that although I have
specified esp=3des-sha1-96, the Phase 1 used SHA1, but Phase 2 is using
MD5.
I have been told that it is possible to make FS use SHA1 in Phase 2 and
could I please change my end to do so. I can not find any parameter
that will allow me to do so.

responses, I am confussed as to whether FS1.98b should work as is or
not.
