Hi,
According to the RFC of ipsec IP broadcast and
multicast is not supported.
Can we use freeswan ipsec tunnel to get domain
authentication done on the server located on the other
side of the tunnel.
The protocol it uses is netbios. The netbios uses net
level broadcast , when the netbios application sends
data the ipsec doesnt match any SA and drops the
packet.
Searching on google for netbios over ipsec gave lot of
info in micro$oft. Does freeswan support this type of
scenario using WINS for domain authentication.
If not, does it plan to do in the future versions ?
