[Users] whack problem

Hello All,
                I complied super-freeswan-1.98b_kb10.tar on Linux 7.2 (kernel 2.4.7-10).
After installing the new kernel and updating ipsec.conf when I tried "ipsec auto --up <conn name>", I received error "/usr/local/sbin/ipsec:unknown IPsec command 'whack'".

Is it that something was left out in compilation and if it is so, then how did it boot from the new kernel??
