Hello,

i have to setup a LAN-to-LAN VPN between twwo remote office branches; in the
main office i have already got a linux red hat 6.2 with Kernel 2.2.20
working fine.

Now i have to install the second firewall and, as this hardware is quite new
and fast, i would like to install Red Hat 7.3 Linux with 2.4.18 kernel.

If, in both firewalls, i compile Freeswan 1.98b do you think having two
different kernel (2.2 series and 2.4 series) will work fine or i could have
some problems?

Thank you for the interest, hoping hearing from you soon.

Bye,

Francesco Collini
