Hi list,
I have a vpn gateway with freeswan and made certificates by openssl.
So far I thought my root ca has a validity of 5 years, but when I give the
following command:
openssl x509 -in cacert.pem -noout -text
I get
.....
Validity
Not Before: Aug 30 13:27:54 2002 GMT
Not After: Aug 30 13:27:54 2003 GMT
......
In my openssl.conf I have
default_days = 3650
Is 'openssl x509 -in cacert.pem -noout -text' the right command to find out
the validity of the root ca?
Thank you for answering
Sabrina Winkelmann
