Hi there..
i hava a little doubt about one of my scenarios..
the point is
left-subnet ----- GW1 ( private Ip ) --- (Private Ip )ADSL MODEM (PUBLIC
IP with NAT) ---- internet -- (PUBLIC IP with NAT) ADSL MODEM (private
ip ) -- (private ip ) GW2 --- right subnet
What is do not fully understand is that doing PAT ( for port forwarding
ports 500 ,50 and 51 for forwarding incoming freewan traffic from client
to GW with thew private ip) will work for doing subnet-to-subnet
I understand that i should perform port redirections thus the public ips
are within both modems not on the GWs..
when freeswan client will try to connect the GW2.. i suppose that the
modem adsl will forward that traffic to the GW2 private Ip ( maybe port
500 50 or 51 or which port? and so create the tunnel,, am i wrong??'
does any one know if that will work???
Is that an scenario that requires Freeswan NAT patches???
anyone has a similar scenario working??
Best regards...
Thanks in advance
