I saw the compile failed on CIPE. That shows the compile is done on a RedHat
kernel tree. I've had some problems with the latest few kernel trees from
RedHat myself. I dont think they're building on a RH8.0 machine themselves.

Disabling CIPE might help, but I then ran into weird internal compiler errors
myself (not due to flakey hardware).

I do have a hacked up kernel-2.4.18-14abi.src.rpm (I needed different options
in abi) that compiles on a Redhat 8.0 box for me.
