Sam,

I was reading the archives on the problem you previously
helped out a user called 'TechnoSF'. I am having the same problem.

When i perform a 'make insert' defconfig is being properly
appended to .config. Howerver, a 'make menugo' or a 'make
menuconfig' is overwritting the .config again and stripping
out the IPSEC entries, hence the kernel error.

I am running RH7.3, 2.4.18-19.7.x

How can I get around this?
