My company is currently seeking VPN possibilities. We currently have a
majority RedHat environment with some Windows integrated in. We have a
group of remote users that spend their time supporting software applications
for hospitals. We tried the route of the symantec corporation and found
complete dissapointment. I guess I can list the options we are seeking and
see if someone can answer my questions.
1. Access to a Web enabled software support systems
2. File and print sharing from remote locations to the internal network at
the main office
3. Access to financial applications such as Quick Books or Web Apps
These are the three most important aspects we need from a VPN solution other
than HIPAA regulations. All remote access will be made with Win2k / Linux /
XP machines.
